Adoption Fees
Our adoption fees are:
- Normal Adoption: $550
- Two Dogs Together: $845
- Puppies: $700
- Senior Dogs: $425
The adoption fee helps cover the vet work as well as the cost of food and care whilein our kennels. All dogs at K9 Rescue Group are vet checked, sterilised, vaccinated,microchipped, de-wormed and flea treated.
Adoption Process

- Complete our adoption application form – online or in our office.
- Application Reviewal – Our kennel manager and trainer will review your application within a few days and will make suggestions of dogs that could potentially be a suitable match for yourself and your lifestyle. We use the application to help us choose a dog that is the right fit for your family and needs to be completed before your appointment because of this reason. Before adopting one of our dogs, we will need to sight photo ID, rental permission (if you rent) and have all household members (and dogs) meet the dog before adoption can take place.
- Meet & Greet! Once we have matched you with a potential companion, you will have a meet and greet in one of our yards. It is important that every member in your household meets the dog(s) to ensure they all get along. If you already own a dog, then we will need to book in a match up to ensure they are compatible. We will need to sight your dog’s vaccination and sterilisation records. Choosing a dog with the right temperament and energy levels to suit you and your dog’s needs is important for a successful match up. Our qualified trainer will help you with this process.
It is possible that when you get here the dog that you are interested in has been adopted. We do have plenty of other dogs so there is still a good chance we will have a suitable dog for you! If not right now, maybe soon.
