Pearl, aka Pearly Wirly Gorgeous Girly, is the reigning Queen of K9 and one of our longest residents – a title we’d very much like her to hand back!

When Pearl first arrived, she was shut down, frightened and unsure of almost everyone. Fast forward to now, and the glow-up has been INSANE 🥹 Our volunteers absolutely adore her (arguments over who gets to walk her have most definitely occurred), & her FIFO foster stays have given her confidence another incredible boost. You’ll often find her stretched out in the sunshine, completely content.

Pearl prefers her hoomans all to herself, so she’ll need to be the only doggo at home. Her social skills have come such a long way, and she now joins pair & pack walks, but new furry friendships will need calm, controlled introductions with people who understand her body language. Kiddos 8+ get the Pearl tick of approval ✔️

Quiet strolls, sunbaking, car rides and one-on-one adventures are her love language, but more than anything, Pearl just wants to be beside her people.

Her love is contagious, her loyalty is unmatched, and after everything she’s overcome, surely it’s time for our Queen to find her castle 👑🥹
