Bruce has had a really hard start to life. He came in as a pup needing shoulder surgery and ended up staying with us far too long. Thankfully as he grew his shoulder corrected itself and he did not need to go ahead with the surgery. With this in mind he has missed out on so much learning in the home environment. He is looking for a home who is willing and able to give him the guidance, training and patience that he needs to help him catch up on this and be the best he can be.

He is looking for a quiet home, possibly active people who work sometimes from home or part time so that there is the time to give to him. A home with no young children as these are too hectic for him. Bruce gets so excited when he see’s dogs and he does calm himself well and can play but just needs a little help at the end. He was sharing a kennel with another dog here and has had multiple friends. We can show you how this is done here at K9.

Bruce has spent some time in foster care where he has adapted to life at home so well. He is sharing the house with another dog and they have gotten along so well. He has absolutely loved going for trips to the beach and making doggy friends along the way. He has been great in the home and has showed interest in lots of different foods. He loves water and running around in the yard with his new bestie.

Bruce would love to go to a home where he can join in all of the fun outings like trips to the beach and walks to the park.
